This 1897-O Barber Quarter Dollar is in a low number condition. The coin is an AG by every standard. The rims are bleeding into the stars and devices, although fully visible, and the device is fully visible, but has very little detail. There is no corrosion anywhere on the coin, but there is an amount of superficial scratches on the obverse on the chin and in front of the mouth. The date and the “O” are both predominant and bold and fully visible. This is a great key-date coin for the Barber collector looking for a low-end example.
