This 1877-CC Liberty Seated Dime is a coin that lands dead center of the Sheldon scale. Wear shows on the coin; places like the knee, head, and leg. The head is still showing details, but is weak and the word “Liberty” is bold and the scroll stands tall. The shield lines still show very clearly and the dark color you might notice is patina growth in a midnight blue sort of way. Wear shows on the leaves on the reverse, but most of the details are still visible. The ribbon in the bow shows details. This would be a great coin for the Carson City collector looking for a great mid-grade purchase.
