This 1917-S Standing Liberty Quarter Variety 1 is a key-date coin worth any collector’s build. This coin is on the lower side of mid-grade, but still has great appeal. Luster presents itself in the deepest portions of the coin. The right leg is worn nearly flat and wear show on the head, breast, shield, and foot. On the shield, the outer ring of beads are visible, but are very weak near the body. The inner circle is nearly complete, but lacking certain detail. On the reverse, the tail-feathers are complete and all of the the major details are visible on the eagle. The reverse has light hairlines, but invisible to the naked eye. This is a great coin for the Walking Liberty collector looking for a nice key-date coin.
